Building Energy Rating (BER) Assessment

From the beginning of 2009 all new and existing homes offered for sale or to let require a Building Energy Rating (BER) certificate.

BER Certificates
The building's rating will range from A1 for a very energy efficient house to G at the bottom of the scale. The purpose of the BER certificate is simply to inform the prospective tenant or buyer how energy efficient the house is.

Car Tax today is based on CO2 emissions. The more energy efficient the vehicle, the lower your car tax.
